There are two types of banner. Site banners that appear at the top of your own web page and banner ads, which appear on third party websites, as a form of advertising.

At Ideal Design we specialize in developing both sorts of banners, whether they be static, animated, or interactive (Flash, etc). We take into account your target audience, using proven design principles, to either attract more visitors to your web site or to enhance branding.

How do I get started?

Contact us via email (sales@idealdesign.co.uk)or by our online form to inform us of your requirements.

What then?

We will send you a document, which you will need to complete in order to give us a clearer idea of your design requirements. Once you return this, we will provide you with a proposal / quotation / and proposed deadline.

What’s required from me?

Assuming you are happy to proceed, we will ask you for a 50% deposit.

We will also need any images and text that you want included.

What next?

STEP 1: Based on your initial brief, we will create two original pieces of artwork.

STEP 2: Following approval of one of the designs, we will make up to half an hours worth of changes to the completed flyer for free.

Further sets of alterations are charged at £20 per hour. Minimum alteration charge is based on one hours work.

How will I monitor the progress of work?

Within the project proposal provided to you, we will have outlined various progress deadline dates.

At each stage of development, we will email you a link to your work to gain your feed back and to show you how far we are in the development stage of your project.

How do we round things up?

Once we have completed the work to your satisfaction, we will ask for the remaining 50% of payment to be paid. Once this has been paid we will email you the banner, in two formats:

1 JPEG File – 72 DPI - For web page display
1 Gif File - 72 DPI

I may want to update the banner in the future, how much do you charge for updates?

Updates to banners are charged at £20 per hour. Minimum alteration charge is based on one hours work.
