How long do you usually take to build a website?

We usually give it approximately 30 days but it also depends on the number of pages on the web site and the amount of work involved.

I need a site built urgently. Can you build us one any quicker?

We do accept deadlines if necessary and provide RUSH web sites if required. A RUSH site is a deadline of less than one week's time. A RUSH site will mean additional costs for such a deadline. Please keep in mind that the number of different projects determines whether we can RUSH a site. We cannot always guarantee a RUSH site upon request and in the event we are facing other projects with other deadlines then you will be informed at once before a contract is even sent.

Are there special features that can be added?

Yes. Special features refer to effects on a web site, such as rollovers or mouse over effects, swap imaging, animated gifs, a clock, pop up messages, etc. We always try and provide the client with as much features as he or she wishes and more importantly to make it cost effective. When Requesting a Quote simply provide a description in the "Comments Box" as to any and all features you are hoping to receive.

Can you design a logo for me?

Yes. Whether you know what kind of logo you want or have a vague idea, we will work with you closely to make sure it's a logo that you are completely satisfied with.

Can the logo you design for me be used for other things?

Yes. This naturally includes business cards, banners, brochures as well as stationary and other online tools of advertising such as web site banners and display ads.

I have a logo on file, can I use it within the design of my website?

Definitely. Just send us the file via email or on a disk or CD in the mail and we will incorporate it within the design of the web site. This can make the process of designing your site even faster as the design of the logo you'd provide would give us an idea as to how the design and look of your web site should be.

Can you set up my site so that I can accept online card payments?

Yes. I.D can enable your site to except payment. For this we would use a shopping cart interface available from OneandOne.co.uk. From our intensive research, we have found that this is the most affordable way to sell goods and service online. These on-line shopping solutions can be customised to mirror your existing web site and are scalable which means you can easily make your shop bigger as your sales grow. I already have a host can we use that one?

Yes. You would need to provide us with a temporary FTP username and pass word so that we could upload your website or items. Or we would contact the technical support for your hosting company in order to see what is required to upload material.

I don't have a host can you recommend one for me?

Yes. We normally recommend oneandone.co.uk for both standard hosting and ecommerce purposes.

Are Ideal Design and OneandOne.co.uk partners?

No. There is no partnership between Ideal Design and OneandOne.co.uk. We simply recommend their services as they are reliable and affordable.

I'm not sure what I want or need, any suggestions?

If you have a web site and wish to modify it or you're expanding online for the first time, then we can suggest different styles and features to help make your web site as effective as possible. How can I pay for all this?

Unfortunately, at this time we can only accept payment by either cheque or money order. We will eventually be looking to provide more methods of payment. We do apologise for the inconvenience.

Can you maintain my site on a regular basis?

Yes. Our maintenance contracts are based on different amounts in terms of approximately how much time is required to complete the edits. But overall, we try and make it as affordable and cost effective as possible.
