HTML pages are standard static web pages, like this one. Designed correctly, HTML pages can be used to portray whatever type of image you are after and leave a lasting impression on site visitors.

If you want a web site with that extra bit of class then why not incorporate some Flash. Flash has now become the Industry standard for animation on the Web. When incorporated into your web pages correctly, Flash can give your static web pages a new leaf of life and create a lasting impression on site visitors.

		E-commerce (online payments and shopping)
		Do you want to sell goods online or simply except card payments via your website? If the answer is ‘yes’, then [I.D] can assist you. From simply Pay Pal installation to fully implemented E-Commerce stores, we can help you with your online payments.

		CMS (make site updates yourself - no technical skills required)
		If you want to update your website yourself, but have no technical web design experience, you will need to consider incorporating a CMS (Content Management System) to your website.

CMS allow non-technical users to carry out site updates quickly and easily from any web-based browser.

The market of Content Management Systems is vast, with thousands of companies offering solutions, ranging from free open source software to high-end systems worth tens of thousands of pounds.

At Ideal design, we offer two options:

Manual CMS - £200.00

Our Manual CMS is an easy to use, browser based website editor, designed for companies who want to make basic changes to their websites, such as adding and amending text, pictures and pages.

The ‘Ideal Manual CMS’ is ideal for companies who want to make occasional amendments to their website, but do not have an internal dedicated web designer / programmer.

No technical experience is needed, as all functions are familiar to anyone who has used a word processor.

As a browser based system, our basic CMS allows anyone within your organisation, on or off site to carry out site updates providing they have Internet access.

Not only is our system simply easy to use, but it also saves you time and money allowing you to make changes to your web site without the need to call (or pay) a Web designer.

There is no installation for you to perform, and no need to move your site from your existing host.

This one off payment covers all pages on your website.

The only requirement is that your web pages contain some static HTML.

Automatic CMS (Database Driven) – From £1000 - £10 000

Just as an automatic car makes driving easier, by freeing the driver from having to shift gears manually, our ‘Automatic Content Management system’ is custom made to clients requirements, alleviating any mundane and time consuming tasks, allowing staff to deal with more productive issues.

Whilst our advanced Content Management Systems are built to specification, below are a few key features:

Approval process (workflow)

Ensures that only authorized people can administer content. Different people can have different access levels — for example a junior editor may be allowed to add news articles but not modify the homepage. An approval process can be as simple as a link that emails new content to a single person for review, or a full-fledged web-based workflow process that includes multiple approvers and roles.

Audit Trail

Audit trails track who made what change and when.

Search functionality

Allow users to find content on your site quickly.

Scheduling

Automatically publish (or remove) content at a predetermined date/time.

Syndication

Feed dynamic content from outside partners directly into your site (or visa versa).

How do I get started?

What then?

We will send you a document, which you will need to complete and return to us, so that we can gain a clearer idea of your design requirements. Having assessed your requirements we willprovide you with a proposal / quotation and proposed deadline.

What’s required from me?

Assuming you are happy to proceed, we will ask you for a 50% deposit.

We will also need any images and text that you want included.

How will I monitor the progress of work?

Within the project proposal provided to you, we will have outlined various progress deadline dates. At each stage of development, we will email you a link to your work to gain your feed back and to show you how far we are in the development stage of your project.

How do we round things up?

Once we have completed the work to your satisfaction, we will ask for the remaining 50% of payment to be paid. Once this has been done we will upload your website live on the web.
